Location: Anywhere in India

This is a permanent role, however it will be work from home (Remote role)

Work Time: 7 AM to 4 PM (Including One hour break)

Since the clients are based in Australia, you will have an early start.

This is a popular shift as it gives the candidates from India a lot of free/family time in the evening.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure and deployment processes.

Your expertise in automation, continuous integration, and cloud technologies will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools AWS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize the software delivery process.
  • Design, implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health & performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard data, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Manage configuration and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistent &
    repeatable infrastructure setup.
  • Support global deployments across regions and AWS accounts.
  • Maintain and test DR setups

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer where your role had direct impact to cost reduction.
  • Strong hands-on experience in AWS.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Experience in canary deployments, blue-green deployments.
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and process improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) And experience in AI Agents will be an added advantage.
